During august, AIG Instrumentos in conjunction with the company Obras de Ingeniería del Lago performed a data acquisition project on marine geophysics over the path of the second bridge on the Lake Maracaibo called “Puente Nigale”. The project has been on hold several years and was taken up again by ODEBRECHT since early this year. The study purpose is to determine information about the main geological units where the foundations of the bridge will be built. This information is then supplemented by the geotechnical study, to finally create a subsoil model.
